Major Change Print E-mail

What does it take to make major change in a relationship with food?  It takes patience, perseverance, and the good fortune to work with the health coach Peggy Manchester.  With her help I was able to identify my destructive habits, the reasons I developed them, and the way to turn them into a healthy positive lifestyle.  Peggy's support was invaluable, with constant positive feedback that helped me learn so much about myself.  I am in the groove for the 1st time in almost 4 years.  I feel so good about myself and I'm losing weight consistantly, without dieting.  I don't think I would have been able to stop gaining weight without her guidance.  It's a blessing that I found her.

Hot and Cold Print E-mail
I was hot and cold about exercising and had yo-yo dieted for decades. I had given up on my ability to control my poor health choices. Finally, through my Coach Connection, I learned why I was punishing myself with food and what trigger words made me resent exercising. After just a few sessions with Fitspeak, I was able to stop punishing myself with food and end “guilt” eating completely. I’ve also been able to successfully add physical activity to my weekly schedule. I feel like a huge burden has been lifted off of me. Now I am so proud of the healthy choices I make every day.

Thank you Peggy, you have given my life back to me!

If you asked 10 people to sort what matters, you would likely end up with 10 different lists. We learned what the top 28 things people cared about, of course, not in this order. When starting with health coaching, it's important to think about what matters to you and in what order. It's the items that you put at the top of the list that have the best chance of success. Take a look at these items and pick the top 3 that have been your focus over the past year.

Taking The First Step is Huge Print E-mail

My name is Peggy and I'm a health coach. Certified, lots of experience, inspiring more then 600 women in both private and corporate settings to lead healthier lives.   (I'm not a horn-tooter, but someone told me it's important establish myself as being credible...  I am!)

Taking the first step with health coaching might sound uncertain to you because it's new and generally misunderstood.

Here are the questions you might ask...

  • Health coaching? another new fad?
  • What's in it for me?
  • Why would i ever pay for something i can figure out myself?

All good things to wonder about!

Here are some things you should know about me and health coaching...

  • Coaching is not a diet
  • Doesn't work for everyone and that may include you
  • You must want to be different
  • It takes work (i'm not talking about sweat!)

But, if I did make promises, here's what you would get

  • Vision
  • perspective
  • accountability
  • support and guidance
  • knowledge
  • tough love

That last one is tricky. No possible way I could explain it well here on a web page. It's not really love and it's not really tough, but tough love is the best way to describe it. When we talk, I'll elaborate.

Only way to find the answers to all these questions I've created...

Email me and tell me when you have a few minutes to talk on the phone.  Don't like email, me too!  Just call 313.720.8856. If by  chance you get my voice mail tell me when to call you back and that's what I'll do.

No obligation, No pressure and No charge ...

But remember, and you know this... do nothing. get nothing.

Hey, it's an email. A phone call. Simple first step. Worst case, we end up being friends and you refer all your friends to me.

Is Change Possible? Print E-mail

One of the reasons for our inability to change is the fact that we don't believe change is possible. How many times have we thought - it might happen to others, but not to me? It's definitely much more comfortable to shrug saying "maybe that's the way I am", than change our attitude and take action.
